I was lucky to have the opportunity to contribute to Leela, a major video game designed around yogic philosophy and anatomy. Each of the meditation style mini-games is intended to stimulate and bring awareness to one of the seven chakras. As both a yoga practitioner and a game designer, I acted as a kind of translator, helping the yogis explain the content in terms that would inspire the game designers and artists. Leela was designed to be played with Microsoft’s Kinect Motion control system. Each of the seven games involve specific movements. As both a seasoned gamer and yogi I was able to provide critical design feedback based on my personal knowledge of yogic anatomy and game design.

Leela was released in November 2011, and published by THQ.
