The talk focuses on some of the hidden truths contained within the basic premise of virtual experience, namely video games. The talk came out of a practice of ‘conscious gaming’ I had been experimenting with, in which I would closely observe my internal experience (thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations) while gaming.

Let me be clear, I’m not talking about the promise of educational gaming. Of course, video games have tremendous application in learning. But what I’m speaking to goes much deeper. I’m talking about video games inspiring a positive shift in fundamental beliefs concerning the nature of reality and the purpose of life.
